Here you will find posts, pages, links and content GFM feels you should take a closer look at.
1. Posts - GFM's posts are focused primarily on 3 main areas: The New Music Industry, Music Publishing and Licensing, and Marketing for Musicians (or other brands). The posts highlighted here are some of the most popular, informative, and a must read for any new or established musician looking to add to their brand.
How To Make Money With Your Music (or Brand) - GFM's most popular post to date! An incredible resource of info for musicians who want to do more with their talent than just create. This post goes over the various channels any musician or brand can use to generate an income stream online. A must read!
GFM Money Kit For Musicians In The New Music Industry - This expands the "How To Make Money" post by adding more detailed information about, and grouping together in 3 setups, the various channels a musician can use to generate income. Each setup is essentially a foundation for your income stream and marketing based on the level you're at in your career.
Essential Marketing Tips For Up and Coming Artists - Let's say you're not worried about having alot of income streams but you want to get the buzz going about your music online. Where do you begin? Read this post to get an idea of how and where to market your music on the internet.
10 Tips To Increase Your Traffic, Views, Followers, and Likes - So technically I paraphrased the title but the content is the same. This is a marketing post that can be utilized by any musician or non-music brand. The info in this post will give you great advice on some resources and techniques to use to grow your web visibility organically.
34 Rock Solid Tips To Grow Your Twitter Community Organically - Another popular post that is strictly Twitter based. Though a lengthy read, this post was meant as reference material for you to go back to should you feel your twitter efforts may not be enough. I created this as a smack in the face to the companies that sell followers. Like really...why would I want to buy you when its better to have you follow me on your own? That means you CHOSE to follow me.
A List Of Music Supervisors On Twitter - If you've read the posts at the top of this section, you'll know that publishing and licensing your music can generate incredible income. This post shows how much research I've done on twitter to find Music Supervisors with an embedded list, and now musicians (and others) can benefit from the list I put together. So...what is a Music Supervisor again? Read this post to find out!
2. Pages - GFM adds pages as the need arrives. Some stay, some go. Its all part of a master plan that I keep tweaking...that's lie but as I get used to blogging, it just feels that way. Here are some current pages under the GFM Spotlight.
The Grimm Factor Music Catalog - For anyone or any company looking to license great independent urban music (with other genres to come), or if you just want to hear something different that you may not have heard before, then I suggest you start here. More music will be added to the catalog as time goes on. There are two ways to hear the music from GFM. There is SoundCloud (which may change) and there is the company cloud (if you've been invited to a folder).
-560- Radio - Part of the Network29 conglomerate of companies, -560- Radio was designed to offer media to promote independent music. The first show The SH-Xperience is an urban music podcast showcasing independent artists. Hosted by Grimm and others in the Style & Heat camp, The SH-Xperience may not be breaking new ground, but it sure is a great way to pass the time and stay entertained. Currently, The SH-Xperience is revamping its formula and will relaunch with brand new material. For now, the episodes uploaded will give you an insight in the mind of the members of Style & Heat. Powered by Spreaker.
Submit Your Links - A growing link carnival. This page was made to help others grow their web presence. As this blog's page rank increases, anyone who adds an appropriate link to this page will benefit from that. All submitted links are monitored for content. Basically, if you don't follow the submission rules, then your link will not stay up. Please...no plumbers or kitchen cabinet designers.
Contact Us - Does this really need explanation? Just know you're email and privacy is safe. I do not spam, nor will your email be given out to anyone else.
COMING SOON - NEWS! ooooooh!
